NEW WEBSITE IN PROGRESS

ATTENTION ALL CLUBS, ATHLETES AND MEMBERS OF CAPE TOWN METRO AQUATICS

Our new website is on its way with an approach that will be focussed on YOU, our members and affiliates. We are appealing to all clubs to submit original pictures, articles and stories about their clubs and athletes. This will be published on the official Cape Town Metro Aquatics Website.

For example:

  • Aquatic related community projects which are positive and uplifting

  • Aquatic pictures of events and venues in all disciplines: Diving, Open Water, Swimming, Synchronised swimming, School aquatics, Water polo, Masters, Learn to Swim

  • Noteworthy profiles and biographies of individual athletes, their achievements and accolades

  • Water restriction news that is affecting our district

  • Anything that you would like to share for public viewing

NB! Written consent will be required from parents or guardians in order to publish their children’s pictures before the information can be submitted.

The aim for the new website will be to have content that is relevant, factual and current. It will still have the old favourites such as records, time standards, events calendars, handbooks, bylaws and club information. So, if you would like the new website to display any content which would be informative, helpful and of interest to the aquatics community, please feel free to include these comments and suggestions as well.

Please contact your nearest club to be a part of this awesome venture!

Looking forward to hearing from you. Consideration will be given to all contributions submitted.

Yours in sport
